Jamaica Manufacturing Association is upset at the possibility of the government intent on centralizing the importation of sugar to stem duty-free imported sugar into the system. The private sector, the only sector within our society that have unbridle power to do what it pleases due to its powerful impact on our governance, must be held to account, only those who are elected by our people must handle our affairs. The government must proceed to have the Sugar Industry Authority as the sole importation of sugar!!!  Corruption must be fought, it is time to act, no more cover-up. MOCA must be deployed to complete the investigation of the Petro-Jam scandal.
