Constable Noel Maitland was charged with the murder of his girlfriend, her body is yet to be found. The news circulated widely on social media which prompted the JCF to respond immediately given the outburst by our public citizens. The Jamaica constabulary force is the only instrument of law enforcement that interact with our people on a daily basis thus the need for the force to have the love and confidence of our people. It is widely acknowledged that some members of the force are corrupted and empowered with political cover, this must end!!! The police entity must use the Donna Lee episode to rid itself of these corrupt and alleged murderers from its rank. The proliferation of bloggers is a result of the non-performance of traditional media houses to defend the rights of our citizens and to expose the corrupt practices of officials in high places.  Mr. Chang must spend more time instituting in practice what he is saying in the gleaner, it is evident that he is a failure and is detached from the reality of the situation on the ground. He and Mr. Holness must move quickly to clean up the corrupt practices of the force, but they need to start with their department first!!
