The Jamaica Patriotic Movement is calling for the building of a monument in Tivoli Gardens for the innocent people that were killed in both careless military operations. This monument will have the innocent victims of both operations reflecting the tribal politics that pervades our life. This will highlight the similarity of the two political entities with two different personalities with the same economic objective. Mr. Patterson representing the Peoples National Party and Mr. Golding, the Jamaica Labor Party. Mr. Patterson carried out the wholesale sell off of our national assets and Mr. Golding adding the finishing touch. Tivoli Gardens became the extreme embodiment of a political design Wherein the Member of Parliament was a political landlord and the don  the tenant. The tenants of both political entities was known by both and carried out their directives in preserving their power base.
