PORTIA SIMPSON,LOST OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOPE JAMAICA.

The PNP under the leadership of MAMA-P have continued the failed policies of both Patterson and the Golding administration. Portia having started out on her first journey as our first female Prime minister sounded the alarm about her dedication to the poor and anointed faithful of the lord only to be subjected to the control by the most conservative arm of the Peoples National Party. She abandoned all the principle and objectives of the party to follow the directives of the Private Sector and the International Monetary Fund. The late Former Prime Minister, the Honorable Michael Manley had warned about the IMF Policies towards under develop countries. He stated that the devaluation of our dollar, reduction of consumption and lack of export will not work for countries that lacked a developed manufacturing sector. The privatization of our economy by all previous administration have exacerbate our crisis leading to the impoverishment of our people, rising crime and murder rate, inflation, credit squeeze to our small businesses, alienation of our youth, migration of our professionals, homelessness, corruption and the devaluation of the dollar. The only winner of this economic apartheid is the 10% that own 90% of our wealth and international capital.

The Prime Minister will be facing the poll and will triumph due to the visionless opposition that still tie its fortune to the dictates of the imperial gentlemen in congress, a policies charted by the politically moribund Edward Seaga. The JLP policies are now the mantra of the PNP thus the powers that be is satisfied with having MAMA-P Injecting the poisonous policies of the IMF and the Private Sector on the poor. We have called for the reversal of these policies; it will fail as it did with all other countries. Both Political parties are slowly decomposing along with the outdated economic policies that favor only the rich.
