Obama has emerge as the best candidate of the democratic party to challenge and reverse the eight years of republican rule which has brought  the world in a state of uncertainty, fear, pre-emptive wars and the worst economic crisis of the twentieth century. Obama message of reconciliation, hope and dialogue in the international arena is a welcome relief. He has promise to end the illegal occupation of Iraq, open communication with Cuba, open dialogue with Iran and work for a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian conflict. On the domestic front he has promise to improve the immigration woes of immigrants and put American back to work. His respect for the international community as reflected in his desire to work with the united nation will augur well for world peace.
