The organization of American states strongly approved of the elected government of Venezuela handling of the disturbances. The democratically elected government of Venezuela is constantly faced with demonstrations by forces hostile to constitutional order. The late president Hugo Chavez was remove by an organize coup but was freed and reinstall as president by the majority. There is still that anti-democratic force that will not stop in their pursuit of bringing back the old order. The Organization of American States also gave credence to the government for arranging a meeting with the opponents in resolving the issues that confront them both. The Jamaica Patriotic Movement applauds the Organization of American States for their principle stand.
