The three iconic personalities that impacted our country politically, musically and history as a people as we try to fit into the united nations of the world. A reflection using these personalities at a time when our country is facing increasing murders and robberies while our leaders try to implement failed policies. On the social aspect, the vision of Marcus Garvey's socialist policies was sidelined to be replaced by a system of governance that exploits the majority of our people to benefit a powerful set of individuals that coalesce to form the Private, our biggest creditor of Jamaica. In our everyday life constant reminder of the musical exploit of Bob Marley but nothing on the Political achievement of Michael Manley in addressing the issues that affected the black majority!! The same as one of the greatest black personalities of our century more so now with the election of a racist president of the United States. They purposely ignore the connection between the economic policies and the effect on our social organism. They don't see the link between the passing of the IMF test and the murder rate and social decay or the connection between the making of billions quarterly and the killings of young black males. The black on black violence mirrors that of the United States within the projects and ghettoes, transplantation to jamaica of a liberal system that promotes violence and sex as part of the colonial entrapment. The Philosophy and ideas of all three giants were taken from our young people's curriculum of life thus the decay and alienation of our youths.
