The confinement of inner-city residents although the intent is plausible will cause the Covid19 to spread more rapidly because of the congestion and dilapidated environment. The policymakers themselves are unaware of the dire conditions because they don't reside in the constituency, they lack the understanding of our citizen's needs. Most dwelling share one bathroom and shower(Tenement Yard), most lack running water and most lack a community clinic, the rural areas are worst. One can imagine a family of six in a one-bedroom dwelling, unlike our Prime Minister who has only a family of three with many rooms and all the amenities of modern life. The crisis was always there covid19 only brought it to the forefront unedited!!! It will force our leaders to attend to these issues in the future, no more delays, the illusion of prosperity is exposed, our people demand action, more livable and affordable housing solutions.
