KOFFEE IN AFRICA, A REFLECTIVE EXPERIENCE

KOFFEE IN AFRICA, A REFLECTIVE EXPERIENCE

I think we relate to each other a lot: Africans and Jamaicans, especially because this is where we, re all from in the first place. A lot of stuff that we practice in Jamaica, we think it is unique to us, but it is because it comes from here. (Jamaica Sunday Gleaner, 01/05/2020.

Our government has failed since independence to educate our youths about their history and African culture that emphasize community development and the policy of all for one and one for all. They instead mentally enslaved our youth mind on   European culture and white supremacy thus the social, physical impoverishment and black on black violence. The European culture is promoted on our various media as superior while our images are portrayed as thugs, frail, incompetent and failures. When there is a crisis only a certain sector of our society is summoned to solve problems that they help create!!! Our people must be alert and start the rebuilding and taking charge of our community include both PNP and JLP citizens, disunity is their weapon of continued control.
