During Britain's reconstruction, many Jamaicans went there to help build that society doing the most menial jobs with low pay and prevalent racism. They made Britain their homes, raise kids, some went to Universities and excel in other areas. The former Prime Minister, Miss May, was once head of the home office and used her position to deny most Caribbean national access to their given rights as citizens!! Our Prime minister visited her office and our people are not fully informed of what took place. Yesterday some 20 Jamaicans arrived in our country, some bewildered not knowing what will happen to them, most have been away over 20 years, and some only family is in Britain. It was reported Boris Johnson went ahead after the Justice Department issue a reprieve from this racist act. It was also reported that most were of minor offenses and were taken from their home in the night and driven over 300miles to the airport without warning and had to be returned after the court grant them a reprieve. Boris Johnson is following the same racist agenda as Donald Trump, using race as an ingrained policy of their immigration platform. There is a coordinated attack on people of color, immigrant and Muslim within the western world spearhead by Donald Trump, it is a shame and disgrace to have the representatives of Britain and the US interfering in our affairs with the covert alliances of our government, private sector, and the media, this must stop, our people locally and abroad must be respected and afforded all rights as subscribed within the charter of the United Nations. Jamaica Patriotic Movement calls upon Mr. Holness to lodge a protest at the British Embassy condemning the racist treatment of our people and the just reparation of money owed to survivors of racism.
