JAMAICAN GOVERNMENT SHOULD...

The Jamaican government should have an emergency meeting within parliament to have both parties discuss and passed a “JOB ACT” as one of the tools in fighting crime. It is utter nonsense to pretend and hide from the reality of the devastating effect of joblessness especially on the youths. Most of the laws are passed in parliament only to satisfy the rich and the powerful. The national housing trust should be part of this endeavor by inviting all stakeholders  to draw up a revolutionary plan of utilizing lands for affordable housing development which would put a lot of skill people to work….the taxation policy of the INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND will only exacerbate the crime problem
