JAMAICA POLITICAL SYSTEM BREEDS CRIMINALITY....

Since our independence in 1962 we have yet to shed the political architecture that still prevails with us. This colonial framework craftily prepared by England after experimentation with the maroons inhabitants and handed over to the current leadership has reaped havoc on our moral, social and political institution. One of the strategy that worked so perfectly is the divide and rule mechanism. The constant uprooting of families due to underdevelopment to foreign land continue unabated, the high cost of living, high unemployment, prostitution, corruption , alienation, and the dispossession of the majority blacks of their assets to foreign entities all contributed to the high crime rate and moral morass that exist today. Until this political machinery is replaced there will be more of the same.

The current Constitution must be amended to reflect the popular will of the people so as to limit the dictatorial pangs of the tribal parties currently stifling our country progress. The system was never design to emancipate our people from mental slavery and poverty. Our movement will be laying out the way forward in our manifesto that is currently being worked on. No, they cannot solve the problem; they are running to the IMF for salvation at the urging of the private sector and foreign entity which will only accelerate the colonization of our people, they created the crisis.
