It is becoming clear daily that our politicians have no solutions to our problem!! they create it!! It is hard for them to see it, since the inception of our political independence we are led by a group of elites supported and financed by people who hate black and poor people. It was a nightmare when a member of that elite clan decided to move away from that one-sided analysis to accommodate the majority of our people. He became a pariah and was denied the opportunity to carry out that vision, the most conservative section of the US establishment came out viciously to stop this humane experiment, Michael Manley was to pay a price. The attack then on Jamaica strives for self-reliance and sovereignty is part of the United States' global imperial policies of not allowing any country to assert itself for full independence.    

Our leaders are not cognizant that we face a systematic problem, our governance that is based on the impoverishment of the many to satisfy the few is no longer viable and need to change!! The system over the years ensures that most of our grass-root leaders are impoverished, have no say in our decision-making process, killed or become an economic migrant. They have allowed our youths to degenerate into rebels without causes, transform some into garrison leaders and the rest killed or place into security services. The killing of children and now women have left a permanent scar on our moral conscience with no attempt by our government at prevention!!! The reason for our government's inactivity is that the poor and working-class are the victims always and the ruling class is immune, their kids are sent abroad only to return to continue that rule!!! The IMF agenda has only worsened our people's economic situation thus the continuing impoverishment. For our people to be free from this exploitative stranglehold a radical rupture with this political and economic system must be initiated!! Our two parties are not up to the task because they are committed to staying the course, more decay and murders are in order. The formation of the movement, Jamaica Patriotic Movement, is an attempt to unite both JLP and PNP poor and working-class to create a better Jamaica.
