Our country during slavery had the most rebellious slaves thus the plantocracy made all attempt to nullify the colonial authorities to give any inkling of relaxing the control of slaves. Women were beaten and subjected to the same treatment as male slaves but the white historian downplays the atrocities meted out to female slaves!!! The Belgian colonialists had the female slaves place their breasts into drawers and slammed to exact pain when they did not fulfill their quota of rubber. Women were commodities to exact value similar to men, they were mentally and physically murdered. Presently in our country, since the imposition of the worst economic system ever applied to a poor country, the IMF, we have seen the gruesome killing ever of men, children, and women with no real serious attention by the governing elites and civic society. What is absent from the analysis by the status quo expert is the impact of this economic measure on the family especially young people and relationships. The killings are among mostly lower-income families. Impoverishment has increased along with the rapid enrichment of a few. Under slavery we had unpaid labor, we have now wage slavery, not enough to meet the high cost of living thus the chaotic mindset and behavior. Given that there is no attempt to change the economic program, murders will continue along with the repeated discussion and flight to fantasy and divine intervention.
