It is befitting to reflect on one of the greatest icon  of Jamaican birth that created  mankind greatest inspirational movement during the period of Jim Crow laws in the United States of America of which the Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey was a victim. It is not a coincident that our Government since independence have strive to crush the teachings and practises of our National Hero. Very few of our people knows that the only black bust that grace the halls of the Organization of American States is that of Garvey. How then the first black president of the United Sates Of America refused to re-open the files on our hero due to lack of funds but readily agreed to sign off on the biggest military budget known to the world.

Our country is now waiting on the empire finacial arm,the International Monetary Fund, to continue satisfying the greed of our local bond holders and international capital. The government and the opposition both appendages of the Private sector have thrown the majority of our people under this monstrous austerity arrangement. This arrangement which is fully articulated in the publications of the IMF manual clearly states that the public sector must be downsized,wages must be freezed and the government sole objectives is to collect taxes and maintain law and order. Past IMf agreements have only resulted in massive layoffs,inflation,increse crime and murder ,alienation and migration. These state of affairs will only worsen.

During these crisis one will witness the tribal approach to our problem to confuse our people but the real problem lies with our neo colonial parliamentary system that ensure this parasitic ruling class to continue pillage our country under the guise of democracy,good governance and transparency. The writing is on the wall,our people will not be killing each other to satisfy this arrangement.
