We are celebrating our 58th political independence celebration with our present governance mired in corruption, a spiraling murder rate, a dysfunctional health care system, and an educational system that still looks down on students from the poor and working-class while the elite school has the black students subjected to racist overtures and insults, an educated beggar class, a sizable homeless population, a non-existent middle class, and our trained professional class leaving for New York and Miami. 

Our Debt is 100% of our GNP, our imports are four times what we export and our manufacturing is in a negative zone.  What has emancipated is the ability of the 5% that own our economy to continue pillaging our country. Our people continue to shine on the world scene with their athletics, educational and musical abilities hoping that their politicians will bring home gold for good governance but instead corruption and neo-colonialism are their bedfellows.
