Dr.Trevor Monroe former leader of the now defunct political entity, Workers Party of Jamaica, that played an important episode during the revolutionary period when the majority of the world oppressed were demanding an end to world imperialism. This was the environment that existed. It was popular then to join the people march for better representation and distribution of wealth. Dr. Munroe must be credited in raising the social and political awakening especially during the Patriotic and anti-imperialist governance of the Peoples National Party under the Leadership of the Honorable Michael Manley. Within the lexicon of the communist doctrine it state that a communist represent the crème de la crème of the working class who studied and understand the scientific  theory of Marx and Lenin and to apply it creatively in advancing the welfare of the working and exploited people of the world. Another important part of this doctrine is to accept that the working class in alliance with other sector of the society as the driving force of this new order.

Dr.Monroe a senator appointed by the most conservative member of the Peoples National Party, Mr. Percival Patterson, the architect of one of the biggest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich, chair the dissolution of the workers party at the delight of the rich and thus was rewarded with a senate seat. He is now stating on the period of the 90^th anniversary of the honorable Michael Manley that he is not a communist. We done Mr. Monroe!! The doctrine of the communist would describe your act as treacherous and opportunistic. The history of our country has created great men who never abandon their principle but advance the welfare of our people due to persistence and commitment that the truth about one country must be protected and advance. Dr. Munroe you have missed a historical opportunity to joined the club of our national heroes such as Marcus Garvey,Paul Bogle,Nanny and Sam sharp as the true heroes of our people.
