The result and conduct of our election prove the corruption and decay of a system that benefits the powerful elites that still dominate. Over 60% of our people refused to be part of this charade an increase from the 56% that prevailed.  It is not a surprise to those who understand the dynamics of our tribal politics, both parties decline in acceptance by our people. The PNP died over forty years ago when they abandon the nucleus of their being, democratic socialism. The JLP was and is the standard-bearer of the rich and powerful!!  They are also the trojan horse for the racist and white supremacists in the US congress. It is a shame that the wearing of Clarkes by Holness was promoted by the media more than the images of our national heroes, the youths are indoctrinated to worship vanity and Holness capitalized on that culture with the buying of votes. How can one explain that one of the most corrupt administrations in the history of our tribal politics won an election unless it was done fraudulently!!! Our people must be prepared to experience some hard times, the IMF is and will be enforced to suck the blood of the poor and workers.
