Our elected official is sounding the alarm on their inability to function with the present salary arrangement and are seeking a pay raise.  It is very important that all parliamentarians disclose their assets to EOJ and the relevant bodies to justify any increases. Majority of our people are told to tighten their belt to satisfy the IMF strictures of holding down wages to reduce the debt, Why is this not applicable to our MP'S?   All members of parliament should be barred from having any interest in business and should be compensated as much to live satisfactorily.
