Once again the incompetence of the Holness Administration is in full view. Every Jamaican know that our health care is ill-prepared to take care of our people's health due to the non-investment in equipment and structures along with the migration of our critical care nurses and doctors. There must be a National Health plan initiated by parliament with our health ministry as the leading force to revamp our administration of health care to our people. We have outlined in our manifesto the path forward, every parish in our country must have a mini-hospital with UWI and KPH as the nucleus of this endeavor. All input must be computerized and nurses paid livable wages. Health care is and must be a human right and should be approached as such, it must be a national priority. Our people have waited over 50 yrs and need to see results, enough of the politicization while our people suffer.
