Our upcoming election is a historic one, as it gives our people a chance to begin the process of gaining our sovereignty and genuine independence by voting out the most corrupt government in our history. Dr. Andrew Holness has demonstrated a lack of respect for our people's intelligence by repeatedly making promises while allowing Corporate Jamaica and himself to profit handsomely. Let us look at his actions while in office.
- Abrogating the Petrocaribe agreement with Venezuela, it was designed to benefit the poor and working class.
- Taxing the poor and working class to pay down the debt while the rich prosper.
- Giving themselves and cronies pay raises while the teachers and nurses were forced to migrate.
- Abandoning our foreign policy to Donald Trump, who played a key role in trying to divide Caricom.
- Try to suppress our people's right to express themselves by having them locked up.
- Give billionaire developers a tax break to build multimillion-dollar houses that our people cannot afford.
- His wife was appointed speaker of the House. She is also a member of the integrity commission.
- Trying to put a gag order on the integrity commission, not to reveal his assets
- No investment in the community to reduce poverty.
- Sticking entirely to the IMF economic program, which only further impoverishes our people.
- Having failed to advance growth, his growth council faded out of existence, and our dollar depreciated consistently!!
He must be denied the opportunity to represent Donald Trump's interests in Jamaica; our country must not be a party to genocide in Gaza. We as a people must continue the struggle stained in blood by our National heroes to unite our people as one for the total disengagement from colonialism.
