Our country is challenged to look at its priorities as it relates to the social context of our people. The pandemic and flooding have exposed the stark inequities that permeate our landscape. It cannot be the focus on allowing the business elites, both local and foreign, to exploit our people by setting up a low wage paradigm while the government exact biting taxes to pay the same bondholders who hold us hostage to the IMF. The government must be forced to tackle the healthcare deficiencies, the unemployment crisis within our professional class, economic migration, suicides, teenage delinquencies, homelessness, murders, and robberies. Agriculture, Tourism, and Education demand a total overall with the utilization of our local talent and resources to drive production and export. Corruption must be rooted out with our enforcement agencies given their independent legal status to imprison those who pilfer the public purse, no culprit must be spared!!!
