2019 is coming to an end with hope and aspiration for our people for 2020. Our people were promised prosperity, a high growth rate, a safe environment, and high employment but ended up empty-handed. What happened in 2019 is the enrichment of the same few that have been in control of our economic and political life since independence. The Private Sector along with their partners in Parliament have enriched themselves, sold most of our national assets and aligned our foreign policy to the racist agenda of Donald Trump, this agenda must be contested on all levels!!!  The IMF/Private sector agenda has proven again that it is not the right program for our country, it is racist and leads to impoverishment and dependency!!!

2020 must be a people's agenda with the removal of Andrew Holness, renegotiation of the IMF and a revision of the GDX program, the banks are awash in cash, our people don't need to pay 11% interest on government bonds!! This must be the first step in getting our economy to work for the 95%.of our people!!!

It was a moving moment on October 27, 2019, when the JAMAICA PATRIOTIC MOVEMENT was launched at the University of the West Indies, the continuation of our people's struggle for genuine freedom and democracy!!!
